<br><strong>Job Title - Research and Development Associate 1<br>Location - Research Triangle Park, NC<br>Duration - 6 Months<br><br></strong><strong>Job Description:<br></strong>Participates in research and development activities by executing assigned laboratory tasks to support project delivery. Performs wet-lab experiments using established scientific and basic quantitative techniques to generate, compile, and analyze data. Works closely with multidisciplinary scientists and across functions to submit and track samples using the current data capture system to enable molecular analyses, ensuring accurate labeling, documentation, and traceability in line with SOPs and pre-established guidelines.<br>Prepares clear technical documentation and reports detailing procedures, outcomes, and observations, and communicates results by summarizing and reporting data to the project team and functional lead. Works under immediate supervision, following instructions and established processes. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager<br><br>Knowledge and understanding of host–pathogen interactions, plant science, or a related field;<br>Strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry;<br>Strong data quality mindset (attention to detail, documentation, traceability, and adherence to SOPs);<br>Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams;<br>Strong communication skills, including summarizing, interpreting, and reporting data to project teams and functional leads;<br>Good time management and ability to deliver timely, routine data uploads and updates.<br><br><strong>Education: <br></strong>Requires a PhD degree.<br>
