This role involves formulating and implementing moderately complex models and algorithms—including linear and mixed‑integer optimization methods—to support large‑scale operational decision‑making. The OR Analyst develops, maintains, and enhances production‑grade analytical solutions that drive cost optimization, resource allocation, pricing, acquisitions, and performance improvement throughout UPS operations.</p><p>The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, software engineers, and data teams to translate complex operational challenges into scalable quantitative models and robust software solutions. The OR Analyst is responsible for model validation, computational performance tuning, technical documentation, and full lifecycle support of analytical products.
