About the opportunity:

The Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our DCD> Connect face-to-face event series. This is a high-energy, execution-focused role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of marketing campaigns designed to drive high-quality registrations for our Spain and LATAM events.

You will act as the engine room of the marketing department, ensuring that every touchpoint—from emails and social media to website updates and industry awards—is delivered with precision and impact.

Key responsibilities:

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across the DCD> Connect portfolio to drive attendance from senior data center decision-makers.
  • Write and edit compelling copy for email marketing, social media, and website landing pages.
  • Manage digital assets by coordinating the production of brochures, web banners, social cards, and leaderboards.
  • Maintain and segment audience lists within the CRM to ensure highly targeted and personalized communication for different personas.
  • Support influencer campaigns by coordinating with speakers and partners to ensure they have the assets needed to promote their involvement.
  • Update and optimize event websites via the CMS to ensure all information is current and the user journey is seamless.
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to deploy scheduled campaigns and track engagement.
Stakeholder support & Reporting
  • Collaborate with the Events, Audience and Sales teams to ensure marketing activities align with goals and targets.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Media Activations: Assist in identifying and negotiating barter agreements with key industry and media partners, managing the end-to-end delivery of collaborative marketing campaigns and asset exchanges to expand brand reach and drive high-quality registrations.
  • Track and report on campaign KPIs, providing regular updates on registration numbers and email performance to the Head of Marketing.
  • Assist in post-event reporting by gathering data and metrics to help identify areas for process improvement.
  • Monitor the marketing budget, ensuring costs are tracked accurately.
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience: minimum of 2+ years of event marketing experience in a B2B environment (experience in managing large scale events is a significant plus)
  • Experience managing multichannel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and partnerships
  • Have a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, whilst up to speed with the latest marketing trends and ideas
  • Have basic experience with CRM and content management systems, marketing automation tools, and social media channels
  • Communication: Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for a professional, senior-level audience
  • Fluent English and Spanish (C1 minimum) required. Portuguese proficiency is a strong advantage
