Job Summary:

Sweyn Forkbeard is an awarded Male Grooming products brand established in 2015 in London.

We are hiring a Sales Assistant for our store in Jubilee Market Covent Garden, London.

Time to work is full time Wednesday to Friday 10:30 am to 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 6:30pm.

The ideal candidate will sell our male grooming products in our store in Jubilee Market, Covent Garden, hit the sales targets, and provide excellent customer service. We look for an active seller and not a cashier.

We pay 13.5 pounds per hour, plus 5% sales commissions when the sales are over 400 pounds. Payment is weekly every Monday. Sales Commissions are connected with the social media content and review (weekly)

Duties:
- Opening and closing the Shop, and cleaning daily.

- Approach and communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide product information. The candidate will need to learn about the products, ingredients, how to use them, and what recommend to different types of customers.

- Assist customers effectively, being active. Customer service and being an active seller is key in this role. Approach customers, engage with them, close sales, and try to oversell.

- Demonstrate upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities and increase the average sales.

- Utilize basic math skills for transactions, sales processing, and maintain the sales records.

- Take payments through the point-of-sales system, cash and cards sales must be added to the system before giving the products to the customers.

- Keeping adequate sales, accounting records, and stock control. Control the stock levels and maintain control of the point of sales to avoid differences.

- Keeping the shop and products clean (daily).

- Depositing cash to bank or to company director or changing coins in the bank when required.

- Giving due care to fragile, delicate and perishable goods.

- Packing and shipping online orders when necessary (only occasionally when the main storage close for holidays).

- Helping to create content to use in Social Media (record and edit short videos for social media, minimum two videos per week)

- Ask to customers for a review of Google or Trustpilot using the disc available to scan.

- It’s a retail job, so the employee understand that will need be standing during the working hours.

- The employee will be well-groomed (hair, face, nails, etc.), wear smart and classic clothing. His own Shirt with Tie, Bowtie, suspenders, vest, etc., with a smart jacket/coat according to the company dress code (classic and smart). No shorts, sport shoes or caps (running or gym) or sport coats, puffy coats, or hoodies are allowed. Women will wear classic and smart, and no sport clothing.
