Part-Time Early Years Educator - Sunny Smiles Nursery (Clanfield)

Are you passionate about giving children a childhood filled with exploration, confidence and real-world experiences?

Sunny Smiles Nursery in Clanfield is looking for a part-time Early Years Educator (Level 3 preferred) to join our small, dedicated team on a term-time only basis.

We are a genuinely happy place to work. Our team culture is one of the most important parts of who we are - supportive, collaborative and always pulling together. Team focus isn’t just a nice extra here - it’s central to this role.

About Sunny Smiles

We are:

  • A small, close-knit nursery with a strong sense of community
  • Passionate about outdoor learning and forest school
  • Focused on curiosity, exploration and meaningful hands-on experiences
  • Committed to building strong, collaborative partnerships with families
  • A positive, supportive team who genuinely enjoy what we do

You don’t need prior knowledge of the Curiosity Approach - you’ll quickly understand it once you see it in action. What matters most is how you approach children, families and teamwork.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 preferred)
  • Has a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Is warm, patient and genuinely child-centred
  • Values collaborative relationships with families - working alongside parents as part of a shared journey
  • Is naturally positive, smiley and brings good energy into the room
  • Thrives in a small team where teamwork, reliability and mutual support really matter

We want someone who helps create a calm, joyful atmosphere - because children feel it, and families feel it too.

The Role

  • Part-time hours (to be discussed) - with potential for increased hours and further development opportunities over time
  • Term-time only
  • Working with children aged 0–5
  • Supporting outdoor and forest school experiences
  • Following children’s interests and planning in the moment
  • Working closely with colleagues to maintain a nurturing, engaging environment

If you’re looking for somewhere you can truly make a difference - where children are encouraged to explore, families feel supported and your contribution genuinely matters - we would love to hear from you.

Please send your CV along with a short note about why you’d like to join the Sunny Smiles team.
