What does a successful Product Manager do at Fiserv?

The Product Manager, Payment Optimization will hold responsibility for driving market requirements for Fiserv'sMerchant Security and Fraudteam and to be the SME interface to clients, sales,and operational teams to identify business requirements,partnerships,and to consult based on subject matter expertise in a dynamically changing fraud ecosystem. This position requires daily interaction with cross functional internal teams and clients to identify and lead product strategy and development, partnering with technical teams to identify and build features and functionality that stored valuemarket needs and ultimately increase revenue and client satisfaction.

What you will do:

Responsible for conception through end-of-life ownership for a specific product (Fraud Mitigation), product group or product line including product management, product development and business development.

  • Manage, track and report product performance throughout its lifecycle including product strategy, product planning and issueprioritization

  • Drive product development and improvements including road map and statement of direction development

  • Own marketspecific playbooks (issuer preferences, 3DS exemptions, network tokens adoption, routing rules, retry windows), and continuously tune strategies for NA, EU, LATAM, APAC, and MENA

  • Lead peers and dotted line relationships through the project lifecycle to deliver development efforts

  • Own incident runbooks, RCA, and reliability KPIs with oncall partners.

  • Prioritize features by quantified ROI; set OKRs tied to conversion lift, approval rate

  • Author PRDs/sequence diagrams for gateway integrations

  • Develop business cases to support new product recommendations.

  • Managethe product development lifecycle from concept, design, testing, and production deployment,and product commercialization

  • Act as a primary negotiator between internal departments and clients to resolveproblem statements and uses cases.

What you need to Have:

  • 4+ years' within the fraud payments ecosystem (i.e. cards, digital wallet, etc)

  • 4+ years' experience as a product manager, with proven experience leading complex projects, while driving roadmap for products

  • Experience with card networks (Visa/MC/Amex), network tokens, vault/tokenization, and leading wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay).

  • Endtoend payment processing workflow expertise, with handson with auth/capture/void/refund flows, success/decline codes, settlement/reconciliation

  • Lead datadriven experimentation and optimization. I.e. Design A/B and multivariate tests for method selection, routing, retries, quantify impact on auth rate.

  • Proven ability to develop, define and track KPIs such as approval rates, capture rates, chargeback rates, issuer/PSP performance; ability to build Looker/Tableau/Power BI dashboards and selfserve views would be a plus

  • Monitor global trends and manage approval strategies by territory and support region specific changes

  • Proficient with analytical tools (SQL, Snowflake, Splunk etc) and API's

Salary Range

$100,000.00 - $165,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
