The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible within Fixed Income Electronic Trading technology team at Citigroup. We are looking for a professional who has extensive experience working as a Business Analyst leading all business discretionary, mandatory, and regulatory projects from inception through go live. Successful candidate will be an expert in eliciting business requirements from business, and collaborating with technology teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Identify and document business needs by working closely with stakeholders. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data to understand trends, patterns and issues. Develop reports and dashboards to measure process performance and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Solution Design and Validation: Propose and evaluate solutions to meet business needs. Conduct testing and validation of new processes or systems before full implementation.
  • Process Mapping and Documentation: Develop detailed process maps to illustrate current workflows. Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in current processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. Ensure all parties have a common understanding of the project objectives.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
  • Interpersonal: Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analysis within financial services industry delivering Front Office Trading and Pricing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge on Fixed Income (Credit and Rates) products and workflows: Electronic Trading experience within Front Office/Ability to interact with Senior Traders.
  • Ability to work with sales/trading/quants teams on implementing pre-trade requirements.
  • Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time and build/develop working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
  • Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
