**Job Summary:
**We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our sales and marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of account research, campaign development, and effective messaging targeted at our ideal customer profile (ICP). The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and a strong understanding of business factors and buyer journeys across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Research: Conduct thorough research on target accounts to identify potential leads and understand their business needs.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Write and develop compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with identified target accounts. Outbound with e-mail, LinkedIn, phone calls, etc.
  • Precise Messaging: Craft clear and effective messaging tailored to specific target accounts, ensuring alignment with their needs and pain points.
  • ICP Refinement: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine our ideal customer profile (ICP) based on insights gained from account research and buyer interactions.
  • Buyer Journey Understanding: Demonstrate a strong understanding of business factors and buyer journeys across various industries to inform outreach strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and drive lead generation efforts.
  • Self-Motivation & Resilience: Exhibit high energy, self-motivation, and resilience in pursuing leads and overcoming challenges.
  • Technology Interest: Stay informed about industry trends, particularly in security and artificial intelligence, to effectively engage prospects.
  • Attending Conferences: Participate at cybersecurity industry events (BSides, RSA, DEF CON, etc) as an active part of the lead-generation team and a professional representation of Escape.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales development or a related field is required.
  • High level of organization and urgency in managing tasks and priorities.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • A genuine interest in technology, particularly in the areas of security and AI.
  • Able to work from NYC office 2-3 days per week.
