The Website Doctors Ltd is a progressive, professional and vivacious website and marketing and web agency that does things a little differently. We are looking for a motivated and creative marketing freelancer or sole trader with bags of enthusiasm, excellent project management skills, an eye on achieving objectives / KPI\'s to join our team. We need people with the ability to reply promptly, do an awesome job and \'get things done\'

We are a freelance collective of 20 professionals who work together to help small- to medium-sized business grow. We\'ve all got our own area of expertise, from account managers, developers, designers and tech experts to content, SEO and CRO specialists.

Our small team of marketing/web account managers are the glue that holds it all together. They manage our client relationships and the varied marketing and website projects that we undertake on their behalf ( we have developers - we just need support with orchestration of the projects and making sure decisions are fuelled by marketing intelligence).

As a marketing account manager, you will be given clients to manage under the Website Doctors brand, while you can continue to work with your own clients and build your own business. You will work from home for most of the week (in your pjs if you want – we don\'t judge) and occasionally attend client meetings so we would like to hear from those within 25 miles of Northampton. We mostly use Google Meets but occasionally face to face meetings.

  • Building websites that ooze marketing intelligence and creativity
  • Consulting with clients to design effective campaigns based on their needs
  • Creating long-term digital marketing strategies
  • Developing and building clients\' brand identities
  • Managing new website projects
  • Overseeing all marketing activities

The every-day stuff:

  • Managing client relationships
  • Managing website builds
  • Managing a range of online and offline marketing projects
  • Developing creative briefs for our freelance suppliers ( Copywriting is essential)
  • Must have experience in editing Wordpress sites
  • Creating client reports on marketing activity
  • Proposing future work and upselling products and services
  • Supporting other account managers with marketing activity
  • Chasing for sign off (we\'re sure you know ALL about this)

Responsibilities:

  • Attend meetings (Not often)
  • Client relationship building
  • Accurate reporting of invoiced work
  • Adhere to the company guidelines
  • Keeping our Project Management System Basecamp and GHL up to date
  • Be an advocate of what we do

Things you\'ll need….

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (obvs).
  • BA Degree or relevant work experience in marketing, digital and websites
  • Very strong time management and organisation skills
  • A creative and innovative brain
  • Digital marketing experience ( and ability to use things like google analytics etc)
  • Copywriting experience
  • Experience with Wordpress websites ( editing essential - coding is not needed - we have devs for that)
  • Freelancer experience
  • Confidence
  • A sunny disposition and a can-do attitude
  • Agency experience preferred but not essential
  • AI experience advantageous but not essential

Salary:

We work on a price-per-project basis for most of our work. The hourly rate for billable time is £20p/h. Payment runs once a week.
