The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. Key job responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
  • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material.
  • Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies.
  • Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
  • Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
  • Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.
  • Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
  • Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.
  • Learn new processes.
  • Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
  • Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.

Additional requirements
  • Shift schedule may vary depending on program needs and may include a weekend day.
  • Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.

A day in the life
The Amazon Leo team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join us as a Material Coordinator. You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer, the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams. You are a problem solver and are comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of with Excel experience
  • Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Work 40 hours a week

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in problem solving and data analytics

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
