About the Role

In this role, you'll play a key part in driving our warehouse teams, retail partners, and Third-party Logistics (3PL) providers to keep distribution running seamlessly day to day whilst balancing cost effectiveness and efficiency.

Beyond managing logistics operations, you'll help strengthen strategic partnerships, improve processes, and support the company's growth by enhancing how we move products across the supply chain.


The ideal candidate should have:
3–5 years of relevant experience in freight, logistics, or distribution operations, preferably within a retail or FMCG setting.
Hands-on exposure to end-to-end distribution, from warehouse to store delivery and last-mile operations.
Experience working with logistics performance dashboards, cost optimisation, or automation projects (e.g., auto-push, system integration).
Prior involvement in managing 3PL providers and monitoring carrier performance, process improvement and ERP systems is a plus.


We're looking for someone who can combine operational expertise with a strategic mindset, driving both day-to-day excellence and long-term improvements in our supply chain.

Responsibilities
1) Operational Excellence
Oversee end-to-end distribution operations to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries across all stores.
Monitor daily logistics performance and troubleshoot operational issues swiftly.
Manage relationships with 3PL providers – guiding KPI expectations, reviewing service levels, and resolving delivery challenges proactively.
Collaborate across functions to understand delivery needs and requirements.
Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure stock readiness, order accuracy, and efficient dispatch planning.

Implement and execute the standardised logistics procedures across stores and our 3PL partners, identifying process gaps and driving consistent execution.

Identify supply chain risks and propose mitigation plans.
Liaise with carriers, forwarders, and key logistics partners to ensure shipping information is accurate.
Champion discussions to streamline auto-push initiatives across functional partners to achieve efficiency in the end-to-end order processing process.

2) Performance Governance
Track KPIs and SLA performance for all logistics partners, analyze and highlighting gaps, thereby driving accountability.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise distribution processes and reduce operating costs.
Analyse logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Develop and refine distribution strategies that support business expansion and operational scalability.
Conduct regular performance reviews and service audits with logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

3) Financial Management
Provide data driven insights and recommendations to Supply Chain Management.
Contribute to cross functional projects focused on supply chain optimisation.
Prepare reports and performance dashboards for internal stakeholders.

4) ERP Champion
Communicate and support implementation of performance enhancement to supply chain or inventory management processes and systems.
Support strong master data governance to ensure data accuracy, consistency, compliance.

Qualifications
1) Technical & Functional
Strong understanding of logistics operations, warehousing and store delivery operations.
Experience managing 3PL providers and multi-location retail distribution networks.
Skilled in supply chain analysis, performance metrics, and data driven decision-making using Excel, BI tools or similar platforms.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to align diverse needs across cross‑functional teams.
