This remote, home office–based role in or near Minneapolis, MN positions you as the primary point of contact for one of our most strategic retail partners.</p><p></p><p>You’ll drive sustainable sales growth and deepen a critical customer partnership by developing and executing strategic plans, leading forecasting and promotional planning, and ensuring flawless item setup and business execution. Leveraging data and insights, you’ll proactively identify opportunities, navigate challenges, and accelerate category performance.</p><p></p><p>Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Category Insights, you’ll ensure strong alignment to customer priorities and seamless execution. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, exceptional communication, and the ability to influence across teams in a fast-paced environment.</p><p></p><p>Join us to grow purpose-driven brands consumers love and make a meaningful impact with one of our most dynamic and important retail partners.</p><p></p></div><p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES </b></p><p></p><p>Retail Partner Management</p><ul><li><p>Develop strong partnerships with Target decision makers cross-functionally and spanning levels</p></li><li><p>Own assortment, pricing & promotion and schematic suggestions leveraging knowledge in brand advantages, competitive weaknesses and category roles</p></li><li><p>Achieve off-shelf display support, highlighting priority items, while working within the allotted budget</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Forecasting + Planning</p><ul><li><p>Lead development of forecasts by item / by week, utilizing information from Point of Sale (POS) and order data analysis, coupled with business intelligence including promotions, assortment updates, competitive activity and growth objectives</p></li><li><p>Develop annual shipment plan [internal] and joint business plan [external] with known growth and stretch upsides</p></li><li><p>Own trade management across brands for key categories, working to drive growth balanced within trade budget</p></li><li><p>Work with Target planning team to manage optimal inventory levels for new launches, seasonal items, and off-shelf programs</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Data Analysis + Sales Presentations</p><ul><li><p>Analyze syndicated and account specific data to determine key business trends and actionable recommendations for business opportunities</p></li><li><p>Develop effective presentations that outline current market conditions, category trends, customer needs, consumer insights and our competitive advantages</p></li><li><p>Incorporate the 4Ps for a full 360 approach to business management</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in CPG sales, including 2+ years leading the business with Target or a major strategic retail customer and delivering strong results</p></li><li><p>Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS</b></p><ul><li><p>3+ years’ experience selling to Target</p></li><li><p>Target JBP negotiation and financial planning experience</p></li><li><p>Category selling experience in home care, dish, air care and laundry</p></li><li><p>General Management mindset; proven ownership approach to business</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently to identify business needs and opportunities to grow sales</p></li><li><p>Ability to both think strategically and act as a diplomatic, detail-oriented tactician</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes and deadlines</p></li><li><p>Ability to independently assess data, integrate into selling stories and leverage it to grow our business</p></li><li><p>Proven track record of delivering consistent positive business results</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful, strategic business decisions and provide clear and consistent direction</p></li><li><p>Excellent presentation skills and a colorful storyteller</p></li><li><p>Strong technical skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Web, CoPilot, etc.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical skills.
