Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Flight Booking & Reservations Agents. This is a remote position that allows you to work from the comfort of your home while assisting customers with flight reservations, ticket modifications, and travel-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to provide top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries from customers regarding flight bookings, ticket changes, cancellations, and other travel-related services.
  • Assist customers in finding the best available flight options based on their preferences and budget.
  • Process flight reservations, issue tickets, and manage booking modifications as per airline policies.
  • Provide accurate information regarding baggage policies, fare rules, and travel restrictions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline regulations, promotions, and industry trends.
  • Upsell and cross-sell travel-related services such as seat upgrades, extra baggage, and travel insurance.
  • Ensure all customer interactions are documented accurately in the system.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve customer service processes and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in travel, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in airline reservations, travel agencies, or customer service is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • A customer-centric approach with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet access and a quiet workspace.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in travel, customer service, or reservations.
  • Experience with online booking platforms and airline ticketing systems is highly desirable.
