Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Geography, Sustainability Studies, or related disciplines may apply for this position.

Master's Degree (Preferred/Advantageous):

Candidates with an M.Sc., M.Tech., M.E., M.A., or other relevant postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Ecology, Climate Change, Sustainability, Natural Resource Management, or related disciplines will be preferred.

Additional preference will be given to candidates possessing:

  • Certifications in environmental impact assessment, sustainability, climate risk, or environmental management systems.
  • Professional certifications in GIS, remote sensing, or environmental monitoring.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance frameworks, and permitting processes.
  • Membership of recognised professional environmental or sustainability bodies.
  • Specialized qualifications in climate resilience, ESG, waste management, or biodiversity conservation
Relevant Work Experience Candidates with 10+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, environmental management, sustainability advisory, compliance monitoring, ecosystem assessment, climate resilience, or government environmental projects are eligible to apply for this position.

Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in:

  • Environmental assessment and monitoring.
  • Environmental impact assessment and compliance.
  • Sustainability planning and ESG advisory.
  • Climate change and resilience initiatives.
  • Waste management and pollution control.
  • Biodiversity, ecology, and natural resource conservation.
  • Government environmental projects and public sector engagement.
  • Technical advisory, field assessments, and environmental reporting
Experience across infrastructure, industry, mining, urban development, water, energy, or public policy projects will be an added advantage. Role Overview The Senior Consultant - Government Advisory - Environmental Science will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across environmental assessments, sustainability, compliance, climate resilience, and public sector advisory assignments. The role requires strong analytical capability, environmental knowledge, and the ability to engage effectively with government departments, regulators, public agencies, implementation partners, and industry stakeholders.

The selected candidate will support projects involving environmental policy, impact assessments, sustainability planning, compliance reviews, field investigations, and environmental governance initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Environmental Advisory & Technical Leadership

Provide technical leadership on environmental advisory assignments involving environmental assessments, sustainability planning, compliance support, and environmental governance strategy.

Environmental Impact Assessment & Compliance

Support preparation and review of environmental impact assessments, baseline studies, compliance reports, mitigation plans, and statutory environmental submissions.

Sustainability & Climate Advisory

Advise on sustainability strategies, climate adaptation, climate resilience, ESG frameworks,
