<p>We are looking for a a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Information Security Team in Kasas City. The work involves SIEM/SOC operations, endpoint protection, network security, and privileged access management. We are looking for hands-on experience with modern security platforms and an interest in improving security in a global environment. We would love to speak with you if you have hands-on experience with modern security platforms in these areas and a passion for strengthening security on a scale in a global environment.</p><p></p><p><b>About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related degree or relevant, equivalent work experience.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting cybersecurity solutions in enterprise and cloud environments.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>It would be great if you also have . . .</b> </p><ul><li><p>Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Experience using CrowdStrike Falcon, Zscaler and other similar tools</p></li><li><p>Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GIAC).</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with modern security architectures (zero trust, segmentation, identity-centric models, secure remote access).</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of cloud security, preferably with hands-on AWS experience; and experience with automation or scripting for security (Python, PowerShell, etc.)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What will you be doing in this role?</b></p><ul><li><p>Design, implement, and support enterprise and cloud security solutions aligned with corporate standards.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with SOC and monitoring teams to strengthen visibility, detection, and security control effectiveness.</p></li><li><p>Support and improve the vulnerability management program, including remediation guidance and risk-reduction metrics.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to integrate and automate security data and processes across enterprise platforms.</p></li><li><p>Assist in evaluating new technologies and ensuring their secure adoption.</p></li><li><p>Define requirements based on the security strategy and implement capabilities to meet established standards and reduce risk.</p></li><li><p>Run proof-of-value tests and operationalize cybersecurity tools and processes to improve Clarivate’s security posture.</p></li><li><p>Stay aware of emerging threats and design capabilities to mitigate them.</p></li><li><p>Respond to security incidents and SOC escalations.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>About the Team</b></p><p>The Information Security team includes over 50 professionals organized across different functional areas. This role belongs to one of those areas and will report directly to the Cyber Security Manager.
