Job Summary

Progressive Technology is partnering with Flipkart to hire enthusiastic, reliable, and hard‑working Warehouse Associates across multiple locations in India. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for freshers and early-career professionals who want to start in supply chain, logistics, or e‑commerce operations. You will be responsible for receiving, picking, packing, scanning, sorting, and dispatching customer orders while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Operations: Unload, receive, and verify incoming stock; label and store items in designated locations.

  • Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items using handheld scanners or pick lists; pack orders securely to meet quality standards.

  • Sorting & Dispatch: Sort parcels by route/zone and prepare consignments for last‑mile delivery.

  • Inventory Control: Conduct routine cycle counts, report stock discrepancies, and maintain system accuracy.

  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), 5S practices, hygiene, PPE usage, and safety norms (material handling, lifting techniques, etc.).

  • Equipment Handling: Safely operate basic material handling equipment (MHE) such as pallet jacks, trolleys, and scanners (training provided).

  • Documentation & Systems: Update order status, scans, and inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS).

  • Housekeeping: Keep aisles, racks, and workstations clean and organized to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and teammates to meet daily KPIs (TAT, accuracy, productivity).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum education: 10th/12th pass; Diploma/Graduates are also welcome.

  • Basic computer/scanner literacy (training will be provided).

  • Ability to lift packages (up to 15–20 kg) and stand/walk for long durations.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in counting, scanning, and packing.

  • Time management and the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and peak-season overtime.

  • Good communication (basic Hindi/English/regional language as applicable).

Experience

  • Freshers are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, e‑commerce fulfillment, inventory, or retail back-end operations is an added advantage but not mandatory.

Working Hours

  • 8–9 hour shifts (plus scheduled breaks) on a rotational shift basis (Day/Evening/Night).

  • 6-day work week with 1 rotational week-off.

  • Overtime/extended hours may be required during festival peaks or sale events (paid as per policy).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of basic warehousing processes: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch.

  • Familiarity with barcode scanners / WMS (can be learned on the job).

  • Numerical aptitude for counting and quantity verification.

  • Problem-solving mindset to flag and resolve discrepancies quickly.

  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and SOP adherence.
