About the Role:
As a CBRE Account Management Sr. Director, you will oversee the department responsible for delivering all client commitments and managing client relationships. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and ensuring client satisfaction.
This will be a senior leadership role that will support a large Life Sciences client portfolio with growth, building client relationships and development of teams of both technical and non-technical staff including over 600+ employees with oversight of P&L over $150M+.
This role is remote with strong preference to EST or CST time zones and up to 60% travel.

What You’ll Do:
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Interact and consult with clients to understand business needs. Coordinate the resources needed to service projects, build strategic operational plans, and balance the expectations of clients with the execution of work.
Manage several clients simultaneously, while serving as a point of contact for systems and processes for new and current projects.
Oversee the management of sales and relationships with key customers. Ensure proper services and enhancements are being carried out. Troubleshoot and solve conflicts.
Direct the project process. This includes developing project plans, creating a project team, and managing timeframes and performance.
Verify the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives as well as contract specifics.
Consult with internal and client teams to define project requirements, investigating various approaches to attain end results.
Apply deep knowledge of multiple disciplines, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness to drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across business.
Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.
Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.
Set and manage to achieve targets with broad impact on the function, business segment, or regional results.
Lead the exchange of sensitive, confidential, and difficult information and convey performance expectations.
Negotiate with senior leaders across the business, customers, and external parties of divergent interests in reaching an agreement of strategic importance.

What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Prior Life Sciences industry preferred, not required.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $200,000 to $230,000 annual base salary plus 30% target bonus based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
