About the Role

Shaka Wear is seeking dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join our growing distribution team. Warehouse Associates play an essential role in ensuring that apparel products are received, processed, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is reliable, works with a sense of urgency, maintains a positive and professional attitude, and understands the importance of attendance, accuracy, productivity, teamwork, and workplace safety.

Objectives of the Role

  • Pick, pack, sort, scan, label, and prepare apparel products for shipment.
  • Receive, inspect, organize, and replenish inventory as assigned.
  • Load and unload trailers, containers, and other incoming or outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Stack, organize, and secure cartons, merchandise, and materials according to established warehouse procedures.
  • Build, wrap, label, and prepare pallets for storage or shipment.
  • Perform inventory, order, and shipment audits to verify product quantities, sizes, styles, condition, and overall accuracy.
  • Accurately fulfill customer and company orders while meeting established productivity and quality expectations.
  • Maintain a consistent work pace and complete assigned tasks within expected timeframes.
  • Verify product quantities, sizes, styles, and other order details to minimize errors.
  • Maintain accurate records and report inventory discrepancies, damaged merchandise, or shipment issues to management.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment after receiving appropriate training and authorization.
  • Communicate professionally and work cooperatively with supervisors and team members.
  • Accept coaching and feedback professionally and demonstrate a willingness to improve.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, or apparel experience is required.
  • Ability to work the assigned schedule consistently and arrive on time for every scheduled shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain expected productivity standards.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Basic ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
