OverviewDataAnnotation is hiring a Proofreader to help train and refine AI language models. This is a remote, flexible contract role open to UK-based applicants, ideal for individuals with strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.

You'll work on projects that involve evaluating AI-generated content, testing chatbot logic, and improving model performance through detailed feedback and linguistic precision.

Key Responsibilities

Assign complex tasks to AI chatbots and evaluate their outputs

Assess the quality, accuracy, and clarity of AI-generated text

Provide feedback to improve grammar, style, tone, and brand voice

Apply research and fact‐checking skills to ensure content reliability

Required Skills & Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)

Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice

Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills

A current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required

Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Interest in writing, editing, and language use

Compensation & Schedule

Pay : Starting at $20+ USD per hour , with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work

Schedule : Flexible – choose your own hours and projects

Contract Type : Independent contractor

Location : Remote (UK-based applicants only)
