Why This Role Is ExcitingThis is not a desk-bound position. You will be on the ground, embedded within hotels, working side by side with leadership teams to unlock potential, solve challenges, and celebrate success.

You will:

Build strong relationships, with 25 hotel visits per quarter

Partner directly with General Managers and key stakeholders

Experience a wide variety of hotel environments and markets

Expand your professional network at senior leadership level

Develop deep commercial and operational expertise across a portfolio

What You Will DoAs a trusted performance consultant, you will:

Strengthen engagement and long-term relationships with Hotel Operators

Drive improvement in key hotel performance metrics while ensuring brand compliance

Align hotel‐level priorities with organisational Commercial Team strategies

Analyse performance data using tools such as Medallia, Tableau, and IHG Fundamentals to identify practical, hotel‐centric solutions

Act as the key link between Hotel Operators and specialist centres of excellence including CPD, Operations Support, Brand, CR, and Quality

Create clear, collaborative action plans that deliver measurable results

You will not just advise – you will influence, partner, and enable change.

What You BringExperience and Expertise

Strong background in hotel operations or hotel leadership – with a focus on driving performance standards

Ability to consult with franchise hotel teams using diplomacy and influence

Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously

Flexible communication style that adapts to different stakeholders

Self‐driven and comfortable working independently

Excellent time and diary management skills

Willingness to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland

Education

Hospitality qualification or equivalent experience
