About the position Deseret Digital Media | KSL.com is looking for a part-time accounts payable clerk. The duties include scanning invoices and inputting them into the Onbase accounts payable system. Learning and executing the accounting coding system to properly account for different types of expenses. Screening expense reports in Workday and applying proper account coding to expenses. Executing ACH and EFT payments as needed. All expenses are prepared for the controller to review and approve. Expense reports are prepared for the controller and manager to review and approve. Responsibilities • Ability to learn the accounts payable process. • Validate and process expense reports in Workday. • Validate and process invoices through OnBase. • Update vendors in Workday and Onbase as needed. • Follow and encourage others to follow the expense report policies. • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Requirements • Ability to work well with numbers and be accurate with numbers. • Strong communications skills (verbal and written) - able to communicate and establish working relationships with other departments and personnel. • Ability to produce within time constraints and quick turnaround situations. • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance knowledge as it relates to accounts payable. • Willingness to continuously learn accounts payable nuances. • Must be performance driven, accurate, detailed, and results oriented. • Strong analytical abilities, good organizational skills, and excellent time management skills. • Goal-oriented person with high personal drive, integrity, and energy. • Ability to work independently as well as within a team and enjoy working with others. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Nice-to-haves • Some Accounting Clerk experience preferred. • Some accounting coursework or an Associate's degree preferred.
